How to create Instagram account

If you wonder how to create a successful Instagram account, then this article is perfect for beginners and experienced folks who want to know everything about it. From what you need to do before going ahead to make the Instagram account. You will also find ways to check your Instagram account status, and many other related information here.

Let's start from the beginning

The first thing that you are supposed to do is create your Twitter handle. This is where all your social media accounts go. When someone mentions Instagram or Facebook to you, just take a note of that Twitter handle and you are good to go!

But don't forget if you haven't created your Twitter yet. There is an option at "Create Your Own" in the top left corner. Open this link to create one for free. Don't forget to click on the name you wish to use as your username. Once done with creating a handle, open the page it is located on, and tap on the button Add New Username to give them a new username (it will be displayed under the screen name). For more than just making an account for myself, I would like to share my twitter handle with this post.

Step 1: Go to https://apps.twitter.com/ and sign up with Twitter using your email address (if possible, make sure that it is linked to my Google account) Go through the steps available on there. After signing up, look for your desired username. It can either be a word or a phrase but make sure the name should include space, and not just the letters. Here I have used both words and phrases in my case. Then go to https://apps.twitter.com, and locate your preferred username. Now scroll down and hit Save. Now you are ready to access your newly updated handles.

Step 2: Select 'Add'

Step 3: Tap on Use your existing name if any or add another username

Step 4: Press Save and that's it!! Done!! It's done! And congratulations! You successfully created your own Instagram account, and it’s now time to use it for the fun. So let's move on to the next step.

Step 5: Search & Check Your Insta Profile

After following these few simple instructions above, head over to Instagram, click on your desired username, and you will see the list of your accounts. But make sure, that at least two accounts should show above and the third one should be your main account. Just make sure you do not scroll to the bottom (that doesn't shows) as the account is shown above it. Scroll down and pick your desired username. Keep the picture of your selected user (not your actual person). Note down your full name and select it. The next step will ask for permission if you want, so press ‘Yes’ and choose it. In the last field, enter your password and follow the rest of the steps listed. Congratulations! You have successfully created your Instagram account! On the same page, you will see various settings. Scroll down from the very first field on the right. That's all to do with Instagram!
